How much life insurance do I need?

It depends on your situation. This coverage is often used for funeral and burial costs, outstanding debts, and immediate needs your loved ones would face. A licensed agent can help you pick a benefit amount that fits, with no obligation.

Is a medical exam required?

No. Guaranteed acceptance whole life plans do not require a medical exam, and many ask no health questions at all. We also compare simplified-issue plans, which may ask a few health questions in exchange for a lower rate.

Who can get this coverage?

Applicants between the ages of 45 and 85 can qualify for guaranteed acceptance plans and cannot be turned down for any health reason. These plans include a two-year graded death benefit: if death is from natural causes in the first two policy years, the benefit is a return of premiums paid plus interest rather than the full face amount. Spousal coverage is available for spouses in the same age range. Exact issue ages, availability, and terms vary by carrier and state.

Which carrier is best for me?

That is exactly what a licensed agent helps with. Because we are independent, we compare more than 20 A-rated carriers, including Mutual of Omaha, Colonial Penn, Globe Life, Transamerica, Foresters, and more, and show you the lowest rate you qualify for.

How much does it cost?

Plans start at $5.86 a month for a sample applicant and depend on your age, gender, tobacco use, health, the carrier, and the benefit amount you choose. Your whole life rate is locked in and will not increase. Your price will differ from the sample, and rates are not final until an application is reviewed and approved by the insurer. A licensed agent can quote your exact price in a few minutes.
